Mandy joined the Spectrum Pack on December 28, 2019 at 14 years of age. We love her silly and sweet old dog habits and she enjoys laughing at us as we try to figure out what food she will eat today. Sweet Mandy was originally owned by and elderly Navy veteran named “Charlie” in Bristol, Rhode Island and was taken in by another family after he passed away without any known relatives. When life became complicated for that family and caring for an elder dog just too much for them, they contact Pilgrim Basset Hound Club for help. Never being able to resist having an old dog, Anne & Bjorn decided to give her a final home to enjoy the remainder of her days. Mandy is intelligent and pretty active for a dog over 14 years old!
